Categories:

• Recreational: V0–V3
• Intermediate: V4–V6
• Advanced: V6–V8
• Open: Suggested V8+

Registration Fee:

• Members: $65
• Non-Members: $75
• Online registration only until the day of competition (or until capacity is reached per session). Refunds are available up until September 28th. Category changes accepted until October 2nd.

Age Eligibility:

• Competitors must be at least 13 years old. VITAL Youth Team members may register with approval by the Head Coach.

General Rules & Scoring:

• Approximately 60 Boulder problems, numbered in order of difficulty and point value.
• Competitors have 3 hours to complete their top 5 hardest boulder problems.
• Requires 2 witness initials on the scorecard for a top to count.
• Every attempt counts (flashes count as 1 attempt, false starts also count as attempts). Attempts break ties.
• Open Category competitors use Modified Redpoint Scoring.
• All Open competitors MUST climb in Session 1 to be eligible for Onsight Finals.

Onsight Finals:

• Top 6 male/non-binary and female/non-binary Open competitors advance to finals.
• 4 boulders per category with 4 minutes per problem.

Prizes & Spectators:

• Spectator entry is free starting at 4:00 PM for the Rooftop Party and 7:00 PM Finals.
• Prizes provided by The North Face, Evolv, Gramicci, Arc'teryx, Tension, STATIC, and more, plus a special giveaway featuring The Van!
