Summer Blowout
A two-day summer blowout event at Castle Climbing Club. Open to competitors and spectators aged 14+. Tickets start at $60 (members get $10 off). Features a classic Redpoint comp where your top 5 highest-valued climbs are tallied. Categories & Prizes: - V0-V2: 1st place has a chance at $200+, 2nd and 3rd place have a chance at $200. - V3-V4: 1st place has a chance at $200+, 2nd and 3rd place have a chance at $200. - V5-V8: 1st place has a chance at $200+, 2nd and 3rd place have a chance at $200. - V9+: 1st ($2800+), 2nd ($1300), 3rd ($800), 4th ($600+), 5th ($400+), 6th ($200+), 7th-10th ($100+). All V9+ places also have a chance at an additional $200. Additional activities include climbing El Cap with guest celeb Hans Florine, crash pad olympics, dunk tanks, and food trucks.
Event schedule
Group A (V0-V2, V9+): Check-in at 10:00 am, Rules Meeting at 10:30 am, Climbing from 10:30 am - 3:00 pm. Group B (V3-V4, V5-V8): Check-in at 3:00 pm, Rules Meeting at 3:30 pm, Climbing from 3:30 pm - 8:00 pm. Post Qualifiers Festival: Includes Crash Pad Olympics, Whole Gym Traverse, Rolling Pin Endurance Challenge, Bag Jump, Dyno Off, DJ, Food, Dunk Tank, and Raffle. Wood-fired saunas open until 2:00 am on Saturday.
