North Massive

For three years and climbing, North Massive has been more than a competition—it’s a rallying point for a localand international climbing community, drawing thousands of athletes, spectators, and enthusiasts to Indianapolis’ North Mass Corridor for a day of adrenaline, artistry, and collective stoke. ‍Hosted by North Mass Boulder, the hub for inclusive, high-energy climbing, our events blend elite competition with an electric festival atmosphere.

We have five different climbing levels to choose from:

Friendly - For anyone looking to have a good time and spread some excitement throughout the day! Any level of climbing. Winner will be chosen on who is having the most fun. See more details on the next tab.

• Cash Prize: 1st: $100; 2nd: $100; 3rd: $100

Recreational - For beginner climbers who have climbed for a few months.  You are working on red, yellow, & green. (V0 - V3)

• Cash Prize: 1st: $300; 2nd: $150; 3rd: $100

Intermediate - For climbers who climb semi-regular and have climbed for more than 3 months.  You are working on green, blue, and purple. (V3 - V5)

• Cash Prize: 1st: $300; 2nd: $150; 3rd: $100

Advanced - For climbers who climb regularly and have over 1 year of climbing experience.  You are working on purple, pink, & black. (V5 - V7)

• Cash Prize: 1st: $300; 2nd: $150; 3rd: $100

Open - For climbers who have competed before and have multiple years of climbing experience. You are working on black and white. (V7+)

• Cash Prize: 1st: $2,500; 2nd: $1,500; 3rd: $1,000; 4th: $500

All categories are subject to individual interpretation. All climbers are different and categories are subjective.The gender of your category is whichever you identify with.
