With classes taught by the best ice climbers in the world, evening presentations to inspire you in your next adventure, and the unequaled beauty of the ice in Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore, this is an event for everyone.

Classes
With classes ranging from the beginner Intro to Ice to the advanced Master Anchoring, and even special adventures into the Pictured Rocks backcountry, taking a class at the Michigan Ice Fest is the best way to expand your skills and have an adventure.
Presentations
Imagine sitting in a classic 1920s auditorium watching some of the most famous climbers in the world talk about their exploits. You’re surrounded by 800 like minded adventurers and the level of stoke couldn’t be higher. That’s Ice Fest.
Socials
Ice Fest started more than 30 years ago with a few people meeting at a bar to swap stories and build a community. After all these years we are still a social event. Getting together to share our tales of adventure is the heart of the festival.
