What began as a small grassroots climbing competition in the Arkansas Ozarks has grown into one of the region’s most unique outdoor events, recently earning statewide recognition with a Henry Award from the Arkansas Department of Parks, Heritage & Tourism. But at its core, King of the Crag remains exactly what it has always been: a gathering of climbers, friends, families, and outdoor enthusiasts who share a love for adventure and a passion for protecting special places.
