Gravity Check 5

We invite climbers of all ages, abilities, and experience levels to join us for an afternoon of bouldering at our 5th Annual Gravity Check Competition!  Whether it's your very first competition, or your 50th, you'll have a blast!

EARLY BIRD Pricing: $45 for TPG members / $55 for non-members

After Nov. 30th: $55 for TPG members / $65 for non-members

Member rate also available to Urbana Boulders & First Ascent PEORIA members.  Bring proof of membership to registration - we WILL be verifying!

Divisions:

Recreational - V0-V2
Intermediate - V3-V4
Advanced - V5-V7
Open - V7+

Choose the division that contains the hardest route you've sent in the gym.  We WILL bump people up if their score is an outlier in their registered division!

Prizes will be awarded to the top three finishers in each category. Those in the Advanced and Open categories will receive CASH PRIZES, while those in the Recreational and Intermediate categories will take home great bouldering gear from our sponsors!

1st Place - $300
2nd Place - $200
3rd Place - $100

What to Expect:

1. In the week leading up to the comp, our setting team will put up a wide range of routes designed to challenge climbers of ALL ability levels.
2. Once the competition starts, you'll be set loose in the gym for 3 hours to tackle 8 boulders specific to your division

We will need volunteers for our USAC comp on Saturday (12/13) before the Gravity Check! No experience is required!  
As tokens of appreciation, volunteers will receive:

1. A complimentary t-shirt to wear during the competition
2. A $10 lunch voucher for the Healthy in a Hurry food truck
3. FREE ENTRY into the Citizens Gravity Check competition on December 14th, or 1 free day pass to keep or give away!!

For those volunteering and wish to climb in the Gravity Check Comp on December 14th, you will register as usual. After the USAC event you will redeem your free entry voucher, and will receive a refund for your registration fee.
