Elm City Showdown

Ascent's biggest bouldering competition of the year.

Compete across four categories — Recreational, Intermediate, Advanced, and Open — with $2,100 in cash prizes, prizes, and gear up for grabs.

All skill levels welcome. Ages 12+.

Competitors will be placed in a category based on their final score.

Two divisions: Male+Nonbinary and Female+Nonbinary.

• Recreational: VFun–V2
• Intermediate: V3–V5
• Advanced: V6-V8
• Open: V8+ climbers competing for the finals cash purse — must register for the Early Session to qualify.

Top 6 M’s & nonbinary and top 6 W’s & nonbinary that compete in the early session will be eligible for the Onsight Finals Round.

Two three-hour redpoint sessions, open to all categories.

• $50 members / $65 non-members
• $75 at the door

The top 6 from each Open division compete for the $2,100 cash purse on the boards.
