Hear ye, hear ye! By decree of the realm, the time draweth nigh for Ye Olde Chitown Showdown!! Gather ye from city, suburb, and shire to partake in a grand tourney of bouldering, where climbers of every degree shall assay their strength upon problems cunningly wrought by our master route-setters. Whether thou art a mighty crusher, seasoned in the arts of mantle and dyno, or a fresh-faced novice seeking adventure, thou shalt find challenge and fellowship within these walls. For this is not merely a contest of strength, but a celebration of our climbing community and the merry company we keep. Throughout the day, competitors shall strive upon a host of newly forged boulders, earning points, honor, and the admiration of their peers. At eventide, the worthiest among them shall advance unto the final round, there to contend for glory before the gathered crowd. Come in thy finest garb, be it knightly, merchantly, monastic, or otherwise fantastical. Cloaks, tunics, and absurd hats shall be greeted with favor, though no costume shall avail thee upon the wall should thy footwork fail. So take up thy chalk bag as a squire might take up sword and shield, and venture forth to seek honor upon the stone. For many shall climb, yet few shall earn a place in the chronicles of the Ye Olde Chitown Showdown. Register anon, for spaces be finite and glory waiteth for no climber.
