It’s open to everyone, and the competition is perfect for all climbers—from beginners to experts. Every participant receives a t-shirt and swag from our sponsors as part of your ticket!

✨ BOULDERFEST CATEGORIES & HIGHLIGHTS ✨

1️⃣ COMMUNITY COMPETITION 🧗

Boulderfest is an all-levels climbing competition. Whether you’ve been climbing for years or are brand new to the sport, you’ll find something fun and challenging for you to climb! Register to compete with a Saturday Community ticket.

Looking to compete on ropes? Sign up for our electric knockout category! A play on knockout or horse in basketball, compete against your opponent on identical auto-belay routes side by side and "knock out" the other person by sending the climb first! Grades will be in the 5.11 range.

2️⃣ PRIZES 🎁

Boulderfest's Community category format is unique, a Raffle Redpoint! Each boulder topped = 1 raffle ticket. Send climbs and complete challenges to score raffle tickets and win incredible prizes from our sponsors and local brands.

3️⃣ ALL DAY PARTY 🎉

The day kicks off with our community competition and is followed by a whole day of festivities. Music, food, vendor market, and live Open Finals show make the day one giant party you won’t want to miss!

4️⃣ OPEN FINALS 🏆

Join us for Open Finals! Local crushers will compete in front of a live audience to claim the title of Boulderfest ’25 champion! The winners take home the cash purse and bragging rights.

Open category divisions include: Non-Binary, Women, & Men. Register to compete with a Friday Open Qualifiers ticket.

‼️ HOW TO SELECT YOUR DIVISION ‼️

Each category has specific color circuits eligible for points:

• Recreational: Yellow, Red, Green (V0-V2)
• Intermediate: Purple, Orange, Black (V3-V5)
• Advanced: Black, Blue, Pink (V6-V8)
• Open: Blue, Pink, White (V7+)

When considering which division to select, choose the division that matches with your growth zone. For example:

• "I generally climb purples/oranges/blacks. I can flash most oranges.” > We recommend Intermediate.
• When trying your hardest, are you able to complete 10 black boulders in 1 climbing session? > We recommend Advanced.
• Can’t send 10 black boulders in 1 climbing session? > We recommend Intermediate.
• Climbing predominantly blue, pink, and white? Register for the Open category.
