COMPÉTITION UNIVERSITAIRE
A BOULDERING COMPETITION FOR EVERYONE
This competition adopts a Scramble format focused on fun and accessibility for all levels. There are no categories for this competition.
The Scramble consists of 20 problems to climb:
- from the "easiest" (block #1 - yellow tape, V0) gradually increasing the difficulty to -
- more "complex" (block #20 - white tape, V8 and +)
Without isolation, or time limits or attempts to complete a block, everyone can go at their own pace.
There will be 3 qualifying rounds of 2 hours each. The 1st round will be open to everyone, while the 2nd and 3rd rounds will be reserved for students (including Cégep).
THE FINALS
The 12 best competitors (6 women / 6 men) will advance to the final. The ranking will be determined by the highest number of tops achieved with the fewest possible attempts.
The final will be a Rush competition , structured as follows: 4 groups of 3 climbers (2x3 women / 2x3 men), 4 boulder problems, 6 minutes per problem. As with the qualifiers, climbers will need to complete as many sends as possible with the fewest attempts to try and win first place and Allez Up prizes.
The Rush format guarantees an action-packed final, where every try is crucial and the intensity is at its maximum.

4:00 PM - 5:00 PM: Finals – Top 6 Women + Top 6 Men
5:00 PM: Podium presentations and awards ceremony
